ACTORS/SINGERS
 
We run regular auditions for Adlib Children’s Theatre school holiday shows.  These shows are produced every school holidays at our locations in Berwick and Upwey and auditions are open to actor/singers of all ages.
 
 

DIRECTORS
 
If you ever wanted to try your hand at directing, and you are a big kid at heart then you could have what it takes to direct one of our popular school holiday shows.  Just send your application and resume to:

PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF ADLIB
 
The Parents and Friends of Adlib raise funds for costumes and End of Year Medallions for the students.  The PFA also cover jobs such as front of house during presentations, canteen and assisting in costume co-ordination.  Adlib’s philosophy is not only for the kids to be part of something special, but also that parents and other family members feel they are a part of the Adlib community as well. It’s also a good bit of social fun as well.

TECHNICAL AND STAGE CREW
 

At Adlib we are always busy working on another great show, whether it is our next school holiday pantomime, an AYP presentation or Sugar & Spice, one of the most important roles in these productions is our technical and backstage crew.  There are many ways you can be a part of it such as sound, lighting, organising props, painting sets, an assistant to one of our directors, or stage managing.
 
 

COSTUMING

 

If you’re like a child in a candy shop when it comes to dress up clothes and costumes, then our costume department is for you.  It could be a dress from circa 1930 or an assortment of fairies wings.  Our costume people take delight in finding just the right “cossie” in an Op Shop or spending hours at Spotlight, letting their imagination run wild.
