JUNIORS | |||
| Our Junior students are introduced to the skills of theatre performance, while developing their confidence as individuals. Through drama exercises and games, the children have heaps of fun while learning basic stagecraft, voice production, improvisation, character and teamwork. | |||

INTERMEDIATES | |||
|
As intermediates, the students are encouraged to create their own scripts, perform solo pieces, and work on longer pieces for entry into local One Act Play festivals. Focus is given to combining acting techniques that incorporate the body, emotions, character, and mime in improvisation and other performances. | |||
|
SENIORS/ENSEMBLE | |||
|
As the students mature they are expected to work more independently. Performance pieces are an important part of this level with students devising, writing and directing their own scripts. They are required to utilise different aspects of theatre performance. This includes the students taking responsibility for the incorporation of music, costuming, lighting and props in their work. | |||

Senior Production Class In its second year in 2010, this course was designed to allow
students who are looking for a challenge to experience all facets of
producing, performing, writing and designing theatrical
productions. The students will also be able to hone their
skills in workshops that will develop their abilities as performers,
using teaching methods that are a proven Victorian College of the
Arts standard. Junior Musical Production Class Film and TV Having had a brief break since 2007, when Adlib presented its
first ever feature film "Formal", we are pleased to announce that
Matt Hillman will once again be taking our new Film and TV course
for 2010. The course is designed to allow students to
learn frame composition, editing, screen direction and performance,
and will also have some focus on visual effects. Students will
also be encouraged to experiment with what they have learned
outside class time. Crescendo
In our Singing Troupe Crescendo , students learn the many facets of vocal projection, performance and the final prestige that is a part of group performance. All ages are welcome. Crescendo will be performing at events and functions throughout the year. | |||
